November 10, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Valley Family Fair announces theme for 2016, “Twice As Nice.” The Fair will be held March 18-21, 2016 at Galway Downs, 38801 Los Corralitos Road, Temecula. The hours will be Friday 12:00 p.m. to 10pm and Saturday-Monday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., rain or shine.  


“Our first year was bigger and better than anticipated with over 15,000 attendees during the three day event,” states Shannon Kerrigan, Temecula Family Fair CEO.  “We’ve added another day and plan to make it “twice as nice” with pig races, dog shows, the 4H club, turkey legs and so much more.”


More outreach will take place through advertising, Del Mar Fair cross promotions, and social media. The estimated daily attendance is expected to reach up to 10,000 fair-goers. FAMILIES ARE STARTING A NEW TRADTION AT TEMECULA VALLEY FAMILY FAIR
Free general admission for special needs citizens and seniors 60+ between 
10am-12noon on Sunday, March 29


March 28, 2015, Temecula, CA – Don’t miss the Temecula Valley Family Fair. Only one day left, Sunday, March 29. The fair is located at Lake Skinner Recreational Park, 37701 Warren Road, Winchester, CA, just outside of Temecula Valley Wine Country.

General admission tickets are valid for both Temecula Valley Family Fair (March 27-19, 2015) and San Diego Fair (June 5 – July 5, 2015). Be sure to save your ticket. Gates open on Sunday at 10am. There will be an Exotic/Classic Car Show from 10:30am-3:30pm. Other entertainment includes the Bourbon Street Jazz Band, Easter Bunny, Turkey Stampede, Pollywood Bird Show, Cirque Adventure throughout the fairgrounds. Community Stage performances include story time with Princess Elsa & Ana, Temecula Valley Dance Academy, Hypnotist Show, Mustache & Beard Competition, Baby Isaac Crew, Vylanis Polynesian Dancers, Madelyn Joy, Bully Burgrz Food Challenge/Competition, Hollywood Dance Competition.

Sunday’s Main Stage features Peter Furler, formerly of the Newsboys. Furler will play a free concert from 6-8pm.  Prior to the concert, there will be live contemporary Christian music by West Coast County Music Association and Ten 17 Worship Team.  

Temecula Valley Family Fair offers rides from kiddie-size to larger than life, and rides the family can enjoy together. Tickets must be purchased to go on rides. The number of tickets needed per ride varies; the cost of a ticket is $1.00. Ride-goers can also purchase a $30 unlimited ride wristband valid for one person for one day, available at the ticket booth.

March 25, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Valley Family Fair gates open March 27, 2015 at Lake Skinner Recreational Park, 37701 Warren Road, Winchester, CA, just outside of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Fair and concert tickets are on sale now at TVFamilyFair.com.

General admission tickets will be valid for both Temecula Valley Family Fair (March 27-19, 2015) and San Diego Fair (June 5 – July 5, 2015). Be sure to save your ticket. There’s still time to enter competitions and purchase concert tickets at TVFamilyFair.com.

Headline country music singer Randy Houser will perform Friday, March 27 at 7:30pm. Rising star singer Becky G will perform Saturday, March 28, at 7:45pm. Concert tickets are sold out, however there will be standing room, based on availability, with your general admission ticket. On Sunday, the Peter Furler Band will play a free concert at 6pm on the main stage.

Temecula Valley Family Fair offers rides from kiddie-size to larger than life, and rides the family can enjoy together. Tickets must be purchased to go on rides. The number of tickets needed per ride varies; the cost of a ticket is $1.00. Ride-goers can also purchase a $30 unlimited ride wristband valid for one person for one day, available at the ticket booth.

In addition to carnival rides, games, competitions and concerts, there will be a petting zoo, roaming Disney princesses Anna and Elsa, face painting, Easter Bunny visits, Wild West Turkey Stampede, Exotic/Classic Car Show, Hypnotist, Jumper Land, local performance stage.  

Come for the Opening Day Ceremony on Friday, March 27 from 11:30am-12:00pm. Gates open at 12:00 pm. The public will receive half off the admission price from 12pm-1pm. Arrive early to avoid long lines. There will be a community flag salute with the National Anthem. Special recognitions and a ribbon cutting will follow. The Bourbon Street Jazz Band will be there to welcome everyone. Other promotions include Early Bird Discount (25% off general admission) on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 10am-11am. Temecula Valley Family Fair plans fun-filled days and nights Friday, March 27, Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29


March 13, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Valley Family Fair gates open March 27, 2015 at Lake Skinner Regional Park, 37701 Warren Road, Winchester, CA, just outside of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Three days of packed fun are planned for this inaugural event, and 10,000 people are expected to attend. Save yourself from long lines and sold out concerts by purchasing tickets online at TVFamilyFair.com.

“This fair has gone above and beyond our expectations. We are so excited to bring our dream to reality and share it with the community,” states Event Coordinator, Shannon Karrigan.

Opening Day ceremony begins at 11:30 am on Friday, March 27 at 11:30am. Gates open at 12:00 noon with the Bourbon Street Jazz Band welcoming fair goers. During the first hour of the fair, attendees receive half off general admission (does not apply with discounts or promotions). Meet & Greet the Easter Bunny from 1pm-3pm. Cirque Adventure is at 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm. The show includes highflying aerial acts, trampoline, slack wire, contortion, acrobatics, stilting, and more. The Pollywood Show is at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. This show features amazing birds with a crazy, comedic edge and is hosted by Oasis Camel Dairy. The Turkey Stampede is at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. This award winning Wild West Turkey Stampede is a race to the finish line.

The Community Performance Stage line up is Story Time with Princess Elsa & Ana at 1pm followed by a Meet & Greet. At 1:15 and 3:30pm is a singing performance by Iris Zietlow. The popular Hypnotist Show will entertain everyone at 1:30pm and 3:45pm. TVHS Step Team and Ohana Maoli perform at 2:30pm, followed by Baby Isaac Crew at 3pm. Evening entertainment is the Varsity Gymnastics at 5pm and Kanan Band at 6pm.

Country Music Star Randy Houser performs on the Main Stage at 7:30pm, with a pre-show by special guest Tommy Dalton at 5:30pm. Fairgrounds close at 9pm.

Fairgrounds open Saturday, March 28 at 10am. The Bourbon Street Jazz Band greets fairgoers at 12 noon. Kids can visit the Easter Bunny from 1pm-3pm. The Cirque Adventure Show is at 12pm, 2:30pm and 5pm. The Pollywood Show is at 12:30pm, 2pm and 5:30pm. The Turkey Stampede is at 3pm, 4pm and 6:30pm.

Sunday, March 29 fairgrounds open at 10am. Special needs people and seniors 60-years and older receive free admission from 10am-12 noon. March 9, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Valley Family Fair invites local churches for a Community Worship Day at the fairgrounds on Sunday, March 27 at Lake Skinner Regional Park. Churches are encouraged to sign up their bands to lead worship on stage.

“We hope congregations in the Temecula Valley will come together to enjoy a day of music and worship at Temecula Valley Family Fair,” states event organizer Shannon Karrigan.

Sunday, March 29 will feature Peter Furler, former singer, songwriter and producer of Christian rock band Newsboys. After 22 years with Newsboys, Furler was feeling burned out, then 18 months of rest energized him to jump back in the business and he created his first solo album, “On Fire.” Furler now has 27 #1 radio singles with one of the strongest albums of his career, “Sun and Shield.” He will perform at 6pm free of charge at Temecula Valley Family Fair Main Stage.

TEMECULA FAMILY FAIR ANNOUNCES CONCERT LINE UP

February 26, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Family Fair announces its Main Stage concert lineup. Country Music star Randy Houser will be in the spotlight on Friday, March 27. Special guest Tommy Dalton will open at 5:30pm, with Houser playing at 7:30pm. Randy Houser is best known for his hits “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” How Country Feels,” and “Like A Cowboy.”

Houser began his career with the top 20 “Anything Goes” in 2008. He will perform his fan’s favorites along with his most recent hit “Like A Cowboy,” which debuted in May 2014. Tommy Dalton is a new Nashville country music artist that is quickly gaining popularity.

Rising star Becky G takes the stage on Saturday, March 28 at 7:35pm. This 15-year-old singer, songwriter, and rapper recently signed a deal with Kemosable/RCA. Her career started in 2011 when Becky G began releasing remix videos through YouTube. In April 2014, she released the first single from her debut album, “Shower.” The song made the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #16. She performed the song at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Her song “Can’t Get Enough” made #1 on Billboard Latin Airplay.

February 20, 2015, Temecula, CA – Temecula Valley Family Fair gates open March 27, 2015 at Lake Skinner Recreational Park, 37701 Warren Road, Winchester, CA, just outside of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Fair and concert tickets are on sale now at TVFamilyFair.com.

“The weekend will be full of thrilling rides, activities and headline entertainment. This county style fair will have 20-plus rides, food, local performances and live entertainment,” states Event Coordinator, Shannon Karrigan. “Bring your family and start a new tradition.”

Headline country music singer Randy Houser with special guest Tommy Dalton take the main stage on Friday, March 27; the preshow starts at 5:30pm with Houser on at 7:30pm. There will be Fair competitions for all ages all weekend long. Competition categories are: Arts & Crafts, Photography, Junior Competitions, and Good Old Fair Fun.  “Sew a Square” competition awards ribbons and prizes to contest winners with the most squares, most colorful square and most unique square. After the contest all the squares will be sewn into blankets to warm children in need. Some of the rides you can expect to see are: Giant Wheel, Super Shot (Drop Tower), Zipper, Bumper Cars, Kite Flyer, Tilt-a-Whirl, Swings, Clown Town Fun House, Dizzy Dragon, Tug Boat, Go Gator Coaster, Red Barron Jets, Carousel, Fun Slide, and more.

In addition to carnival rides, games, competitions and concerts, there will be a petting zoo, roaming Disney princesses Anna and Elsa, face painting, Easter Bunny visits, Wild West Turkey Stampede, Exotic/Classic Car Show, Hypnotist, Jumper Land, local performance stage.  

Celebrate the Opening Day Ceremony on Friday, March 27 from 12pm-1pm. The public will receive half off the admission price from 12pm-1pm. Arrive early to avoid long lines. There will be a community flag salute with the National Anthem. Special recognitions and a ribbon cutting will follow. The Bourbon Street Jazz Band will be there to welcome everyone. Other promotions include Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 10am-11am Early Bird Discount, general admission tickets are 25% off. Sunday, March 29th from 10am-12pm is Special Needs & Senior Sunday, there will be free admission to special needs citizens and seniors 60 years and older.

Temecula Valley Family Fair is a three day event, hours are Friday, March 27 from 12pm-9pm, Saturday, March 28 from 10am-9pm, Sunday, March 29 from 10am-8pm. Admission prices are: 3-Day Pass purchased on or before March 12 is $25, purchased after March 12 is $30.
